Chip & Frends feeling BEING JOHN MALKOVICH's fancy finger work!

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.,-- February 12, 2000 --Kamela Portugues and Lee Armstrong, the original puppeteers for the Emmy Nominated Chip & Friends video program, are also the duo that made John Cusak's puppeteering look so realistic in the film, BEING JOHN MALKOVICH. Kamela and Lee supplied their voices as narrators for The Big Twenty's "Chip & Friends" Interactive CD-ROM. Recording was completed at Kincade Studios, in San Francisco.

Big Twenty CEO Matt Lubetich commented, "Even while doing the VO's, Kamela and Lee would move their fingers and stand on their tippy toes, like they we're moving puppets." Lubetich was very pleased with their work, adding "Anytime you get to work with pro's at their level, it becomes an enjoyable learning experience." Kamela and Lee trained and worked with Cusak throughout the MALKOVICH production.
