SLASHERS CUTS THROUGH DEVELOPMENT

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA-- March 3, 2003-- The Big Twenty announced today that Robert Weisman's Escape Entertainment (RW-EE) began shopping its new feature, SLASHERS. The Big Twenty has been working with Robert Weisman and his team over the past several months packaging the project.
Robert has already been discussing SLASHERS with Rob Zombie (HOUSE OF1000 CORPSES) and his managment at THE FIRM, as well as reps. at Lions Gate Films.
"Rob is a man infected with horror, and it is a great passion to be associated with," says B20 Producer, Veronica Reid.
Robert's teen angst story draws heavily on his respect for John Hughes, with an added punch of adreanlin coming from Weisman's experiences of working with action powerhouse Jerry Bruckheimer.
"I flipped through the storyboards before reading the script...I was hooked, literally." B20 Producer Ken Cashman says with a squeamish stomach.
Convinced to shoot on 24P after seeing Robert Rodriguez's SPY KIDS II, Weisman is looking forward to creating some intense imagery in this digital medium.
With principal photography on-location in Orange County, America's Hip Factory will literally be ripped to threads when this shooting schedule is complete. Consulting with RW-EE on an on-going basis, all of us at The Big Twenty wish Robert nothing but the best of success with SLASHERS.
