13 Ounces of Moonshine an 'OFFICIAL SELECTION' at the PROJECTIONS FILM FESTIVAL
BELLINGHAM, Wash. November 18, 2001:
Recently relocating to Burbank, Ca, Executive Producer Matt Lubetich made a special trip back to the great Northewst to join his friends at Children At Play as they celebrated 13 Ounces of Moonshine's OFFICIAL SELECTION into the Projections Film Festival. "The opportunity to screen 13 Ounces in front of a hometown crowd with family and friends in a festival environment is not something I've been able to enjoy with our other projects". Lubetich said.
The screening was one of two reasons Matt returned to Bellingham. He was also asked to participated on a filmmakers panel addressing the ever so popular topic "State of the Independent Scene". Other panelest included Glen Berry, Webmaster at Filmunderground.com, and representatives from the Vancouver Film School. In closing, Lubetich also stated that "Being on stage verbally sparring with Glen Berry on topics like the growth of entertainment production, or lack there of in the NW, was just icing on my homecoming cake".
